Resurrection Catholic Missions of the South, Inc., began its' work in 1943 when a small group of Resurrectionist priests and brothers from the midwest came to Alabama to address the needs of the indigent and forgotten. They came to preach the Good News and to meet the spiritual, social, healthcare and educational needs of vulnerable children and adults. Our first campus, literally on the banks of the Alabama River in Montgomery, consisted of several humble multi-use buildings. Today Resurrection Catholic Missions of the South, Inc., is a multifaceted organization enjoying excellent facilities and offering much needed programs in order to resurrect society in the name of the Risen Lord.

Hello and welcome to our site. We are privileged to continue our work for the resurrection of society in collaboration with our sponsors, the Congregation of the Resurrection. We continue to preach the Good News, to take care of our special needs children, the elderly, our school children and all who come in need with zeal and joy rooted in the Risen Christ's victory over sin and death..
