The Fourth Week of Advent, Come Lord Jesus!
As we find ourselves on the precipice of Christmas 2017, I am acutely aware of the all the turmoil and strife which beset so many places in our country and our world. As most of us look forward to festive meals, bounteous food, and comfortable dwellings, we must not forget our sisters and brothers In California, Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, and so many other places where natural disasters and other calamities have left them devastated this Christmas season. The Infant Savior became a human being so that we might have life abundant in this world and eternal in the world to come. May we all be compelled to share with them in their need and remember them constantly in our prayers.
