This month, the Archdiocese of Mobile Office of Vocations and Resurrection Catholic Missions of the South, Inc. are teaming up to host the ENIGMA (Even Now I Give Myself Away) Retreat – a discernment retreat for young Black Catholic men (and young Black men who attend Catholic Schools) ages 16 to 35.
Held at Resurrection from Friday, January 25 to Sunday, January 27, this retreat will not focus only on priesthood. This immersive retreat will have a broader focus and will include all of the vocations – inviting attendees to consider who God is calling them to be and how they are being called to give themselves away out of love for God and neighbor.
For Mobile residents interested in attending the retreat, transportation to Montgomery will be provided. A van will leave from McGill-Toolen in Mobile at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and return to Mobile at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The event will be held on Resurrection campus in Montgomery and is free for all registered attendees. Participants will receive a t-shirt and other special gifts. The deadline to register is January 22 for high school students and January 17 for all other interested attendees.
