Montgomery Drive-Up COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics scheduled for Feb. 8-12

The clinics will take place each day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Montgomery’s South/Central Police & Fire/Rescue Precinct; 3003 E. South Boulevard.

Mark your calendars! Montgomery will host #COVID19 Drive-up #Vaccine Clinics Feb. 8-12 from 9.m. – 7 p.m. (may end earlier if supplies run out) at 3003 E South Blvd (old Montgomery Mall). The clinic is first come, first serve for Alabamians in categories 1A & 1B and individuals 65 years and older. No appointment is required for these clinics. Eligible participants do not need to call ahead of time. 

1A and 1B includes: 

  • Healthcare workers
  • First responders including EMS, firefighters, and law enforcement
  • Frontline critical workers – corrections officers, food and agriculture workers, U.S. Postal Service workers, manufacturing workers, grocery store workers, public transit workers, people who work in the education sector (teachers, support staff, community college and higher education), childcare workers, judiciary (including but not limited to) circuit judges, district judges and district attorneys
  • People who work or live in congregate settings
  • Clergy

Attendees should bring a photo ID that includes their date of birth as well as identification to show they meet one of the above eligibility requirements.  

Entry to the site begins at 8 a.m. each day with vaccinations beginning at 9 a.m. The public will enter via East South Boulevard at Strathmore Drive. There will be a walk-up option should an individual arrive on foot or through public transportation. Anyone using the walk-up option must enter through Strathmore Drive and proceed to the check-in tent. Organizers will continue to provide vaccinations as quickly as possible to eligible recipients as supplies are available. There is no cost to receive a vaccine, nor is insurance required.
