OUR KINDERGARTEN AND FIRST GRADE STUDENTS ARE PUBLISHED AUTHORS!
On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, the Kindergarten and First Grade authors of a newly published book, “I Like”, held a book reveal and signing at Resurrection Catholic School. The event was coordinated by Kindergarten teacher, Ms. LaKenya Grace and First Grade Teacher, Mrs. Pamela Garrett.
Attending this wonderful event were parents, grandparents, friends, staff members and other students. The young people who wrote the book were available to talk about their page and they did this quite eloquently. Levi talked about why he likes tigers and what type of tigers can be found. He illustrated his page with a magnificent orange tiger. Mahogani illustrated her page with a wonderful bowl of spaghetti and meatballs, her favorite dish! Each student worked very hard on both their handwriting as well as their illustration.
